Meeting for non-Dutch designers with a lecture on Dutch design history by Timo de Rijk.

BNO Expats are meetings for non-Dutch designers working and living in the Netherlands. Edition #2 features a guest lecture by Professor Timo de Rijk on design history of the Netherlands. Timo has recently been installed as Professor of Design, Culture and Society (a joint chair at Delft University of Technology and Leiden University) and is chairman of the BNO.

Program

The program starts at 6.00h pm (welcome drinks at 5.30h pm)

1) Introduction by Madeleine van Lennep
2) Lecture "What is Dutch design" by Timo de Rijk
3) Questions and discussion
4) Closing with drinks and snacks on the terrace (if the weather allows).

The meeting continues socially until approximately 8.30h pm.
