Legal and business guidance
Do you have legal or business questions? Our advisors are ready to help. You can come to us with questions about contracts, procurement conditions, intellectual property, disputes with clients and more. As a BNO member, you also get exclusive access to sample contracts such as terms and conditions, assignments, licenses and non-disclosure agreements.
Our legal advice focuses on intellectual property rights, commercial contracts, terms and conditions and more. You receive hands-on advice: short, concrete and directly applicable, so that you can make your own decisions with confidence.

Grow in your profession – follow a training programme
As a member of BNO, you can participate in inspiring workshops or training series that strengthen your skills and entrepreneurship. Below you’ll find a selection from our regular offer:
- The Core Competencies training series consists of five training sessions that further develop your social and commercial skills: project and self-management, leading creatives, positioning and acquisition, communication styles, and presenting and debating. These can be followed as a series or separately.
- The Grip On training series consists of three practical training sessions especially for creative professionals: entrepreneurship (from market position to client relations); leadership (effectively managing with your own leadership style); and money (financial steering with business models and key figures). All training sessions are practical with small groups and include directly applicable tools for daily practice.
- The Strategic Brand Design training series teaches designers to tackle brand issues strategically in three modules: Brand and Strategy (basic theory and positioning) The Process (working method and collaboration) Design for Brands (translation of strategy into visual design).
- The Driving Dutch Design Next Level training series is specially developed for experienced designers who are ready for strategic choices in their entrepreneurship. In nine training sessions, you lay the foundation for your business strategy, gain insight into and oversight of the financial side of your business, and learn how to sharpen your position.

By becoming a BNO member, you become a visible part of a large and multidisciplinary design community.
