Legal and business guidance
Our legal and business advisors are here to support you with a wide range of issues. From drafting contracts, using general terms and conditions, preparing quotes and budgets to advice on licences and copyright. They’ll also help you think through business models, growth opportunities and how to position yourself in the market.
Our legal guidance focuses on intellectual property rights, contracts, privacy, and terms and conditions. In every case, we’ll guide you so you can make the right decisions yourself. Plus, we provide a wealth of resources and templates for designers to use, such as dossiers, templates and FAQs.
Training opportunitiesThroughout the year, you can follow training sessions to boost your professionalism and give your career a jumpstart. Learn how to position your brand strategically, improve your presentation skills or work on project and self-management. |

BNO Start
Right after graduation, we offer a foundation programme to help you kickstart and grow your own design practice. BNO Start includes a kick-off session, two studio visits and six practical training sessions on networking, administration, rates, target groups and positioning, PR and communication, copyright and contracts, and sales strategies and business models. Our goal is to make sure you can confidently start building your design career. This training programme is free, exclusively for BNO members.
