Momkai is an award-winning strategic design agency that focuses on building membership-based communities around meaningful missions. Our global clients past and present include Adyen, Red Bull, Nike, the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), Urban Land Institute, Imperial College London, and New York University. The team worked closely with the founders of VanMoof, Bugaboo, Oncode Institute, Swapfiets and Renews Japan. Momkai helped to co-found, design, and build De Correspondent, now the 3rd largest membership journalism platform in the world (and a client for over 9 years).

About your role
We are looking for a talented research intern with a passion for digital trends and innovation to provide a strong basis for the work we do as a strategic design team. You help spark new ideas and think out-of-the-box — guided by a strong moral compass. Academic research capabilities and strong writing skills are an advantage, since you will work on real projects from the start.
At Momkai, you will be welcomed by a close-knit team, who will do anything in their power to make you feel at home and help you develop yourself. During your internship, you will be mentored by an experienced strategist, who will help you set and achieve your internship goals. Together, you will research new projects, prospects, markets and trends, all captured in structured documents and dynamic presentations.

What we ask:
Educational institution — registered in European Union (required);
Research skills — eager to learn;
Available for 4 to 5 months — start in March 2023;
Studying (digital) business or marketing — at bachelor or a higher level;
Member-focused — design with communities in mind;
Analytical capabilities — a curious nature and a proactive mindset;
Hands-on — open to feedback, focused on quality;
Proficient in English — speaking Dutch is helpful.
