YA Evening Sessions: 'the point of exhibiting'
The YA Evening Sessions take place every night during Dutch Design Week, in our beautiful location at Sectie-C. Powered by the BNO together with a group of over 50 graduates.
The goal for these nights is to give everyone interested more insights in the design world. From practical tips to interesting questions raised, we hope you will take something away that helps you in strengthening your (future) career.
The speakers for this night will be:
David Heldt, curator of Connecting the Dots. They publish and present Dutch designers and design culture on an international stage during design events and fairs such as Salone del Mobile, London Design Week and many others.
Caz Egelie, a graduate that has been going from exhibition to exhibition, in which he curates other designers into his own stand.
VANTOT, these Sectie-C residents and design duo have presented their work at Big Art and will discuss making the most out of a design fair exhibition.
We are currently talking to other potential speakers, stay tuned!
This night we will discuss the point of exhibiting, at one of the biggest design exhibitions in the world. For who is exhibiting a vital part of their design career and who could better skip it? How to prepare for a major exhibition, or a small one?
The doors are open to everybody: graduates, design professionals, journalists or people just visiting Sectie-C at that time. For questions you can always e-mail Markus via firstname.lastname@example.org
