What we need you for
We are ‘Acteursgroep Wunderbaum’ and we’re working on a new theatreshow named ‘Wat heb ik nou aan mijn fiets hangen?’. We are looking for two filmstudents to work on and work in this performance.
We are making a Dutch, German, Arabic performance which will partly be produced in Germany, Jena. Theaterhaus Jena is our German branch and that’s were the performance will have its premiere. We are working with Dutch-syrian and German-Syrian refugees. The performance will be suitable for Arabic, German and Dutch speaking audience.
On the stage an Arabic sitcom will be filmed live, staged in a German bicycle shop with Dutch tourists. The filmcrew (2 students) will be on the stage filming these scenes and meanwhile projecting what they film.
We are looking for 2 students who are exited to work on this with us. Ideally they travel to Jena in the beginning of July 2019. There they can, together with the rest of the Dutch crew, learn the show from the German crew.
We will play it on a location in Rotterdam (via Theater Rotterdam) roughly between 29th of august and the 13th of September 2019. Then we will come back once more on location in Amsterdam (via Frascati) roughly between the 15th and 27th of March 2020.
What we expect from you:
You are a filmstudent who is video-technically well-grounded and independent, who is creative and flexible.
Preferably you are familiar with working on a theatre performance.
