Ieder jaar nemen we de 20+ meest opvallende eindexamenwerken op in het Dd Yearbook. Alle studenten die in 2023 zijn afgestudeerd aan een kunstacademie, kregen de kans om hun afstudeerprojecten ter overweging in te dienen. Het redactieteam van Dd Yearbook heeft een zorgvuldige selectie gemaakt van 60 afstudeerprojecten. We kondigen nu elke twee weken, in willekeurige volgorde, 12 projecten op de shortlist aan die kans maken om in Dd Yearbook ’23-’24 te verschijnen.

Na deze selectie wordt een definitieve selectie gemaakt van 23 afstudeerprojecten door onze selectiecommissie, de Raad Toelating, Geschillen en Advies van de BNO, onder begeleiding van het redactieteam van Dd Yearbook. De selectiecommissie kijkt naar de originaliteit van het concept, de gemaakte ontwerpkeuzes, de kwaliteit van de uitwerking en naar de relevantie van het onderwerp. In deze uiteindelijke selectie streven we ook naar een balans in de verschillende ontwerp-disciplines en opleidingen.

Het nieuwe Dd Yearbook ’23-’24 verschijnt op 14 december 2023 en zal gelanceerd worden bij het Nieuwe Instituut.

Every year, we include the 20+ most remarkable graduation projects in the Dd Yearbook. All students who graduated from an art academy in 2023 had the opportunity to submit their graduation projects for consideration. The editorial team of Dd Yearbook has made a careful selection of 60 graduation projects for the shortlist. In random order, we will now announce 12 projects from the shortlist every two weeks, that have the chance to appear in Dd Yearbook ’23-’24.

After the shortlist selection, the final selection of 23 graduation projects is made by our selection committee, the Board of Admission, Disputes, and Advice of the BNO, under the guidance of the Dd Yearbook editorial team. The selection committee evaluates the originality of the concept, design choices made, the quality of execution, and the relevance of the topic. In the final selection, we also aim for a balance among different design disciplines and academic institutions.

The new Dd Yearbook ’23-’24 will be released on December 14, 2023, and will be launched at the Nieuwe Instituut.
