Dit najaar organiseren wij de online BNO Business Boost! Tijdens deze workshop informeren we derde- en vierdejaars studenten over het leven na de academie en alle veelvoorkomende juridische en zakelijke uitdagingen waar ze aan het begin van hun carrière mee worden geconfronteerd.
De workshop wordt op vier verschillende data gegeven waarvan twee in het Engels en twee in het Nederlands.
Inhoud
Na een korte introductie over de BNO zullen we ingaan op auteursrecht, zakelijke mogelijkheden en contracten. Daarbij komen de volgende relevante vragen aan de orde, zoals:
Wat is auteursrecht en hoe komt het tot stand?
Hoe zorg ik ervoor dat iemand anders er niet met mijn idee vandoor gaat?
Welke contracten zijn voor mij als ontwerper relevant?
Wat zijn algemene voorwaarden en wat kan ik ermee?
Freelance of loondienst?
Waar vind ik mijn eerste opdrachten?
Hoe bereken ik een uurtarief?

This fall we will host the online BNO Business Boost! During this workshop we inform third and fourth year students the most common legal and business challenges they will face at the beginning of their career.
The BNO Business Boost will be offered both in English and in Dutch at various dates.
Topics
After a short introduction about the BNO, we will discuss copyright, business opportunities and contracts. This will include the following pertinent questions, such as:
What is copyright and what is its use?
How do I make sure someone else doesn't run off with my idea?
Which contracts are relevant to me as a designer?
What are general terms and conditions and how can I apply them?
Freelance or paid work?
How do I get commissions?
How do I calculate my hourly rate?
