What are you working on right now?
I have a few things going on: some concept work for a beer brand; some digital displays for a Christmas party; a brand for a Science Fiction podcast. And when I have spare time I have a long list of ideas and personal projects — I write music, I want to do more type design and a few other things. Getting exercise and getting enough sleep are also works in progress.
Is there a project or something else that you're very proud of?
That's difficult, but lately probably the Amsteldok project that I worked on at VBAT with a small team, we created some beautiful typography, logo, motion graphics, 3D design... it was one of those great projects where ideas just keep coming. They've continued it and implemented it beautifully since I left too, which is so good to see.
How did you find us?
I first came across it when I was looking for work in Amsterdam after I moved from the UK and then decided to join when I started freelancing.
I worked on the graphics and banners for Pride Amsterdam this year. The photo is by Jeroen Ploeger.
What can we do for you right now?
For me the first thing was some free legal advice after I had issues with a troublesome client. I learned that I should get clients to sign contracts. Just passing that on. You're welcome.
