Who are we?
MAST is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Amsterdam. We specialise in experience design: telling stories through exhibitions, interiors, experiences and products. At our studio we embrace concept-driven storytelling in our design philosophy. We are conscious of our own impact and strive to make design choices based on both quality and environmental responsibility.
Founded by an interior designer and a multimedia artist, our studio takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship in the broadest sense of the word. Working closely with our partners and extended network of experts in various fields, we support our clients through the entire design process.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Mid-Level Exhibition Designer / Interior Architect to join our team (minimum of 3 years of professional experience). In this role, you will develop spatial concepts and translate them into compelling 3D visualisations and technical drawings. You will be involved from the initial idea through to realisation and play an active role in guiding the engineering and construction process.
What do you bring?
- Proven track record and experience in exhibition design and interior architecture;
- A Master degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or Exhibition Design;
- A proactive, curious and collaborative attitude;
- Affinity with museums, the cultural sector and retail brand experiences;
- Good knowledge of Vectorworks (2D and 3D), SketchUp and Enscape;
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite;
- Skills in Rhino or Fusion for complex modelling is a plus;
- Experience in creating high-quality 3D visualisations;
- Experience in producing final design sets in 2D;
- Understanding of materials, technical detailing and construction processes;
- Availability of at least 32 hours per week;
- Based in the Amsterdam region or willing to relocate;
- Excellent spoken and written English; Dutch is preferred as well.
