‘Ik Zie Ik Zie’ changes the direction of our daily gaze. You might cross a street or square every day, but have you actually looked at your environment? Seen everything that is there? I placed a periscope in the public space to let people look at their environment in detail. When they peer through the viewer, they are treated with an unexpected view of the city. A video compilation shows this attraction of looking at things from a different angle.
